My journey as a dog trainer began long before Public Manner Dog Training Academy was ever created — it started back in 2008 with my first dog, Rocsie, a loyal and driven American Pit Bull Terrier. Rocsie was my best friend and my greatest teacher. Together, we built a bond through patience, trust, and consistency. I taught her to heel and side both on and off leash, to stay calmly from a distance — even out of sight, and believe it or not, I even trained her to duck hunt and retrieve from the lake. That experience showed me what was truly possible when communication replaces control and leadership replaces frustration.

Years later, in 2016, my family welcomed Flash, a seven-pound Maltese with a big personality and even bigger reactivity issues. At first, he barked at everything and everyone. But through structure, confidence-building, and positive leadership, Flash transformed into the complete opposite of his old self — a calm, social, and obedient little dream dog who reminded me that every dog, no matter their size or background, can achieve balance.

Those experiences changed my life. What began as a passion became a calling. I became a professional dog trainer, dedicated to helping other families experience the same life-changing relationship I’ve been blessed to have with my own dogs.
